REST Design Methodology
Here's a helpful tip, when developing an API, stick to the REST design methodology. Here we'll describe the requirements for the REST architecture. The first principle of REST is the interaction between the front-end and the back-end teams. Per REST, the back-end and front-end represent the server and the client, respectively; they communicate in a client-server format. The client may also be represented by a mobile device, a watch, or any other device. The second principle states that there must be no customer status on the server. Everything you need for a reply comes in a request. The third principle, you must use to build a REST API, this becomes the resource identification. Per REST, we address to the server for some resource-representation. The server returns it, but it is different from what is in the database. Most importantly, the message contains an ID which is a link from where you can obtain this message again. This is all the information you need to continue working with the resource.Good luck with your developments.
